Reuben’s natural charisma and gravitas has taken him to all corners of broadcast media – from entertainment, news, sport and weather to live radio and events. Reuben’s media career was sparked by a love of music, which led to a job behind the microphone with the Australian Radio Network in the Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide markets as a radio host and DJ. He then completed his post graduate studies with the Australian Film, Television and Radio School and moved into the world of television.
A former national news anchor and weather host on Australia’s Foxtel television network, Reuben has covered a diverse range of stories. Delivering breaking news on the tragedy of the 2009 Victorian Bushfires, reporting on the devastating Brisbane floods or detailing the all-important weekend surfing conditions, he's been across all things weather-related. He's featured as a guest and panelist on national TV shows talking pop culture and international issues, and has also hosted major live events for the network. On Australia's Network TEN, he was part of the on air team for national morning program, Breakfast, traveling the world covering the latest lifestyle and travel trends, technology headlines and food news and events. He was also one of the four hosts of Network TEN's Weekend National News.
When he's not in front of a TV camera, Reuben has presented at some of the most exciting live events on the world sporting stage – the Commonwealth Games, the FINA World Swimming Championships, Football World Cup Qualifiers and Australia's A-League, to name a few. His sporting knowledge and versatility has seen him commentate at the highest international level on everything from basketball, water polo, gymnastics and even wheelchair rugby. But his live events expertise has extended beyond sports, working as an emcee, host and voiceover at international events including the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, and various award ceremonies and corporate events.

Reuben has worked with countless tourism bodies around the world uncovering the latest vacation trends, hottest locations and newest hotels. He's reported from an abundance of international cities, sourcing the best places off the beaten path for travelers to check out, seen on Expedia Australia and New Zealand's video content, which he also produced. His position in the lifestyle television genre has sent him to all corners of the globe, from exploring the ancient Mayan ruins, to swimming with sea lions in the Great Australian Bight, to rocking out in Texas at Austin City Limits, and dog-sledding through the magnificent Alaskan snow. As a international food critic, he's also covered not only the finest of international dining, but the latest, craziest food trends and obsessions all around the world. He has a passion for uncovering the most unique and life changing culinary experiences, and presenting them to an audience in a relatable and unintimidating way that makes your mouth drool.
But you haven't just seen Reuben Mourad. You've more than likely heard his voice too. He’s an accomplished voiceover artist and has voiced campaigns for clients including MetLink Melbourne and the RTA, was recently the voice of the Australian Subscription Television and Radio Association (ASTRA) Awards and the Inside Film (IF) Awards and regularly voices some of the Australian Government’s major events. Reuben has also been heard on numerous radio stations, as a music host on Australia’s Smooth FM, and also as a contributor on a wide range of topics. He's interviewed some of the biggest names in the media – from supermodels to federal politicians, gold medal Olympians to chart-topping musicians.
Reuben is also very proud to be an ambassador for the Royal Institute for Deaf and Blind Children - an Australian charitable organization that he's worked closely with now for close to a decade. Alongside this, he's honored to be an Australia Day Ambassador, delivering the Australia Day address in rural Australia.
